This app only shows the score in terms of games within a set, it doesnt show points within a game. It doesnt show whos serving. It shows match times incorrectly wrt local time at the tournament, which caused me to miss a match I wanted to watch on TV. Not sure what time zone it uses when displaying times. Add in the fact that scores are 20 minutes delayed and this app is pretty useless. Its also very disappointing given how much their web site had hyped it.
Im a huge tennis fan. App responds quickly and has tons of information. What I dont like about the app, it is UGLY. The choice of colors, buttons and they layout are all very cheap looking. I hope the developer will look at other tennis apps, like the US Open, Austrailian Open and others. The interface on those apps is slick. I would love to buy this app!!! But, for now, it is just too ugly. Please remember, we have iPhones, we expect and need something that looks great too! Just putting information in an app with no regard to aesthetics is just silly. The iPhone is beautiful and therefore need beauty to compliment it. Think silver, gray, white with some accent colors like a blue or green. Orange? It really looks UGLY! I will gladly buy the app when it improves. Remember, all of the big games have their own iPhone app and they are beautiful and free. If you are serious about making money, you need to really consider your target customer and why we would want to buy your app when there are much better apps for free! All the other apps, give up to the minute results and scores, they look AMAZING and they are free. So, I ask myself, what does your app offer that I would pay for? Presently, nothing! Rethink, review and then RE-DO this app!
This app needs work! It crashed on me when I tried to open it 3 times! This stinks. The touch controls dont even work!
